The 36th Golden Disc Awards will be held on 2022 January 8th

The 36th Golden Disc Awards will be held on January 8, 2022 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul. 

The 36th Golden Disc Awards will be reviewed for music and albums released from November 2020 to mid-November 2021. 

Candidates in major categories will be selected by quantitative evaluation such as music usage and album sales. The final winner will be determined by adding 40% of the evaluation score of 60% of sales and 50 experts counted by mid-December 2021. In order to prevent awards in major categories such as the main award, grand prize, and rookie award from turning into popularity awards, the online voting rate has been excluded from the screening criteria, and only the popularity award will reflect the 100% popularity vote score.
